2013 Membership renewals have been mailed to all 2012 paid members, except those having only joined in 2012 who have not completed their Work Party requirement for membership renewal in 2013. If you qualify and have not received your membership renewal, contact Membership Chairman Jim Creek at 717-572-8583 or jcreek@me.com. Membership is open to anyone 18 years of age or older. Prospective members must complete the Application for Membership and agree to abide by the By-Laws and Rules and Regulations of the Club, and that violations of such may be grounds for dismissmal, without remuneration. Currently there are no restrictions on new memberships, however a prospective member may be denied if there exists a known history of dismissal from another sportsman's club for significant conduct or safety concerns. 2013 Annual Dues are $25.00. Current 2012 member renewals for 2013 membership must be received before January 31, 2013. Otherwise you must submit this as a new member application with the $35.00 fee and you will be required to meet the work party requirements outlined below. No exceptions will be made for late renewals. New member applications must include a non-refundable application fee of $10.00 for a total of $35.00 per applicant. New member applications will be submitted for approval by the membership at the next monthly meeting after receipt, and if approved you will receive your membership card within two weeks. If membership is denied you will receive a refund of the $25.00 annual dues paid, less the $10.00 application fee. Membership dues are not prorated, new membership applications received and approved starting at the October 2012 monthly meeting, and anytime up to and including the September 2013 monthly meeting, will be good through December 31, 2013. New membership applications received after the September 2013 monthly meeting and approved at the October, November, or December 2013 monthly meetings will be good through December 31, 2014. Prospective new members making application may pay a $50.00 Work Party Exemption Fee in addition to the initial $35.00 Membership Fee to waive the above noted work rule requirement. Payment of the Work Party Exemption Fee eliminates the requirement to attend (1) scheduled work party and will insure you are eligible for membership renewal for the 2014 year.
2013 work parties are tentatively scheduled for January 5, March 9, April 6, May 11, June 8, September 7, and December 21. Please refer back to this website for final dates.
